Richa Sekhani is a Research Assistant with ORF's Economy and Development Programme. Her research focuses on Indian economy, trade and regional FTAs. She writes regularly for Indian newspapers and has published research articles in journals such as Economic and Political Weekly. Richa is also working as a research associate with the Former Commerce and Industry Minister of India, and was involved in the support team of the Book titled Remembering Jawaharlal Nehru. She is also the columnist of a research blog called Nickeled & Dimed and analyses ongoing development in trade and economy. She completed her Masters in International Trade from Symbiosis International University in 2014. Her thesis was titled “Assessing Impact of Governance: A Perspective on India-Africa Trade.”
